Three takes one missing

January 12, 2021January 12, 2021 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 9 Comments

You the last to see
I believe so, maybe
You’re not sure
Is anyone with her

~

Movement, no sign of
Cameras, swivel heads
Moment of inertia
Her still, mass appeal

~

She smiled, or is it smiles
He heard, looking up
Hands, mixed fingers
Missing persons, maybe not

you’ve got a piece of paper

boxed untouched

Armed In Arm

December 30, 2020 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 4 Comments

Unseen angels
whitecoat legions
armed in arm
hope springs
thank you

Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine approved in the UK this morning…

Hark Angels

Past present
hark angels
known
unknowns
thinking
wishing
eternal hope

Saturday Shorts – Leaking Mind

December 19, 2020 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 19 Comments

He’s a miserable old fart
with his melancholic prose
well he can be let’s not beat
about the bush yet sometimes
there’s a touch of something
a poetic hook no you don’t see
to be honest neither does he
a take on words a leaking mind
incontinence now that’s not kind

Wriggle Room

December 17, 2020 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 9 Comments

He’d fit in
not too tight
wriggle room
found comfort
in his words
her choice
he said she
can walk away
between lines
he spoke
another way

Saturday Shorts – Two Faced

December 12, 2020 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 12 Comments

Can’t find a photograph
that shows me as I am
no lens can see as I do
your eyes don’t either

Saturday Shorts – Slowly Once Perceived

December 5, 2020 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 8 Comments

Its passing felt by ache
by loss none can evade
by turn of wrist we watch
as allotted seconds spin

Its edge forward speeds
yet slowly once perceived
microwaves beep display
show time as ‘End’

Naked

December 3, 2020 ~ EDC Writing/Believing Sight Unseen ~ 16 Comments

Is this okay

You paid for it

Yes, but alright for you

You need too

Not so sure

Do it, I don’t mind

I’d better go

I’m naked

Me too

No rush

I like this

Some men do
