Half a foot of nonsense
driven to release
she took his hardness
softened his belief
she gave what he’d not had
he said he’d never give
sex lay behind them
love let in begins

'odd lines, short poems, bits of prose'
I absolutely love Love. That, allowed in, it seeps around all the hardness, the rough edges, the splintered glass, the locked doors… seeps in and softens all those edges, adds layers and shine and color and slickness and depth before unknown. This is a very yummy piece which I highly enjoyed.

Thank you, Tara! ‘That, allowed in… to… depth before unknown’ your words beyond a comment – I read as if your post – more than once, again!
