  1. In a preface to an anthology of very short SF stories the editor explained how essential it was not to waste one word.
    I see you have that spot on!

    1. I don’t know if this helps – I started by writing about relationships as single thoughts without regard to the number of words. These lines could be as few as five and up to maybe a dozen words. Then I came across ‘six word stories’ (which at that point I’d never heard of) and kind of got intrigued by them. I now find ‘six words’ a way of fixing ideas in my head to use in my poetry and prose – a kind of mental post it note I find easy to recall. The important thing is that they work for you in some way and if other folk like them too and let you know it’s really nice – thank you. Eric.
